World Awareness Week 2016

 

Every year, John Brown University has a week devoted to celebrating the diversity, cultures, and uniqueness of the world we live in. Student Ministries Leadership Team (SMLT), a team I am a director on, is in charge of coordinating all the events for the week.

I was tasked with creating a graphic concept to fit our event theme of "Celebrate Restoration". We wanted to imagine a unique world that comes together, much like a mosaic. A mosaic keeps the unique characteristics of each piece, but once combined creates a beautiful picture.

This is the poster series I developed. The world is constructed out of tiny mosaic pieces. It highlights the beauty of every aspect of our world.
